Use the pins placed along the center seam to help guide the placement of garment down your trace lines. u v Remove the center pins, then insert pins on the sides slightly inside the embroidery hoop as shown. Also, we recommend using fabric clips to hold the sides of your garment in place. w x Place your first piece of appliqué fabric, face up, over top of the placement stitches. Tape fabric in place if needed. Insert the embroidery hoop with garment to begin stitching the design. Then, run any decorative embroidery steps in the design. Next, run the placement stitch for your first piece of appliqué. The next machine step will be the tack down stitch for the appliqué fabric. Note: when creating blanket stitch appliqué, match your tack down stitch to the appliqué fabric.
