Everything that stitches inside this block will be seen in the block, everything outside the squaring stitch will be sewn into the seam allowance. c d Step 2 will be the tack down stitch, securing your batting to your stabilizer. Using scissors, trim away the excess batting from the tack down stitches. f Next, place your base fabric over top of the placement stitch, making sure the fabric extends by 1/2” on all four sides. e Run step 3 of the design which is your placement stitch for your base fabric.
