The final stages od the boxes are very important to me. Most of the boxes are mounted with the tops of the boxes splayed open. I do this because, to me, it looks more artistic, and I often also stitch on the box flaps. The box tops are actually mounted on the original box base, so if you peek from the side you will see the borders of the box. They are mounted in a shadowbox to allow for the visual depth and beauty of the finished work of art. The mounting system truly looks beautiful when there are multiple boxes in a single piece. They become works of art that look more amazing the closer you get.
