JULY 2017 PROJECT 55 Choosing the correct fabrics will make the designs pop! CHOOSING FABRICS Choosing colors for these designs is easy, just keep in mind your color palette. We suggest choosing a grouping of fabrics that all work well together, and for the occasion. For this collection we decided to use textured fabrics such as felts, plaids, and more to give each of our characters a soft, festive feel! Once you find your fabrics, choose a variety of complementary threads that will make your designs pop! If all of the fabrics and thread colors go together then no matter what you embroider, the designs will look great. The example shown here are some of the fabrics and threads that we decided to use!
