STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS Next you'll tack down your base fabric. When placing your base fabric, be sure to leave a 1/2" seam allowance on all sides. Once your base fabric is tacked in place, you can run the next machine step which will stitch the marking stitch for the vinyl and organza. Before adding the vinyl and organza, we'll need to remove the fabric inside of the marking stitch. Begin by using a seam ripper to create your first puncture. Once you have a gap large enough to fit your scissors into, trim the remaining fabric inside of the marking stitch. Once all fabric is trimmed away, your design should look like this.
