CREWELWORK CANVAS SIMPLE STITCHES REDESIGNED Traditionally, crewelwork embroidery is a type of free embroidery hand-stitched with wool thread onto a tightly woven linen twill surface. For this collection, we embraced the artistry of traditional crewelwork by creating designs to match this iconic embroidery style. By incorporating linens and unique stitches that depict this style of embroidery, we were able to reintroduce crewelwork to the modern embroiderer.
