This issue is dedicated to our joyful Tigger, who passed away very suddenly on May 20. We know she is in God’s hands and we will see her again (see page 58.) Until then, we will miss her every day. Pet Pages begin in Florida with the mission, “To bring about the betterment of the animal community through education and awareness.” One of the ways that we in the Cincinnati and Dayton areas want to accomplish that is to encourage everyone to consider the “adoption option” when increasing their pet families. There are many wonderful shelters and rescue organizations listed in this publication with loving animals looking for their “forever homes.” All of the humane societies, shelters, and rescues are listed in the front, under “adoption,” so it is easy to �������� ���������� �������� ���������� ���������������� ������ �������� ���������������� to see some low-cost and no-cost spay/ neuter programs being offered; please check the”events” and “spay/neuter” sections. We also provide information about healthier choices for your pet. We encourage you to consider natural alternatives to lawn care, health care, and pet food.
