In 2015, Th e Hammock Shops Village became a Corporate Leader, providing a level of annual support that enabled its sponsorship of Brookgreen events throughout the seasons. “Th is partnership helps us reach the people we want shopping at Th e Hammock Shops Village: local residents and repeat visitors to our area,” states Sharon Abee, Marketing Manager. “In addition, Brookgreen Gardens operates with such integrity and an emphasis on what is ‘aesthetically pleasing,’ which is how Th e Hammock Shops Village wants to be perceived, too.” Th is summer, Brookgreen will welcome a group of BB&T Bank employees to help construct familyoriented games related to Ribbit the Exhibit, which will be featured at “Family Fun” Th ursdays during Cool Summer Evenings. “BB&T’s Lighthouse Project provides corporate fi nancial support to local charities, while our associates roll up their sleeves and go to work landscaping, painting, preparing meals and more, making our communities better places to be.” Th e employees will also volunteer to assist families in playing the games on four Th ursday evenings, June 15, 22, 29, and July 6.
