Kenneth R. Kellner, MD, PhD UF professor emeritus, division of maternal-fetal medicine Dr. Kenneth Kellner passed away in January after a long battle with cancer. Kellner was director of the third-year clinical clerkship in obstetrics and gynecology at the UF College of Medicine for 25 years. He was also director of the perinatal diabetes program and founder and director of the perinatal mortality counseling program. During his tenure, the Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics, the specialty’s national educational organization, recognized the UF OB/GYN clerkship as the best in the country. Kellner completed a fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at the UF College of Medicine and was on the UF faculty from 1977 until his retirement in 2012.
