Rio Tinto 303P Conveyor Belt Repair Report – 19 July 2016 �� Overall Result: The repair was completed over a two-day period and the belt has been operational since July 2016. The repair has hardly a mark on it since the repair, as per the image below. The repair material is still level with the parent belt and shows no sign of lifting at the edges. As a result of this repair, we expect the life of this feeder belt to be extended by another 12 to 24 months. Additionally, this repair costed a fraction of what it would have cost to replace the belt. Repair after 8 months: (please see next page)
