Aaron is an avid water sport enthusiast and can usually be found on the water any given day. Katie helps with the tours when she’s not working at her parent’s company. They partnered with Tracie Grossman Georgiadis, who owns and operates Paddleboard Adventures. She’s been guiding tours in Englewood and Boca Grande for many years. As new business owners, Aaron refers to Tracie as his mentor. “I’ve learned so much from her and really appreciate her willingness to work together with us,” Aaron said. The Boca Grande and Placida area not only have bragging rights for some of the clearest waters in southwest Florida, the area also has more than a dozen natural and artificial reefs as well as mangrove tunnels. The waters surrounding Boca Grande are home to countless species of fish, sea turtles, dolphin and manatees. “Our clear kayaks and stand up paddleboards are a great way to spend your day on the water,” Katie said. This is a water sport, so be prepared to get wet. The owners also suggest you bring water and sunscreen. Protecting marine life and the environment is very important to the owners of Glass Bottom Rentals, which is why they are excited to partner with Sea to Shore Alliance, a non-profit organization in Sarasota that combines the technical expertise of trained ecologists and biologists with the passion and enthusiasm of citizen volunteers.
