When Offroad Nation got the call to come check out the event we made a few calls of our own and Facebook posts to our buddies to have them turn out! The Mega trucks were in full force getting down and deep and also sailing high off the multiple jumps the bog has built into it. We would like to thank all who showed up but a special thanks to you guys who worked overtime to get your rigs fixed in time to make this event what it was. There are no classes at this event because it’s open Boggin’. The staff do a great job at sending a couple rigs out at a time so everyone has plenty of space to play. The team handles the recovery of stuck rigs smoothly and efficiently. There were no trophies for the event but after a quick call to Josh at Vague Industries, an Offroad Nation Magazine “Truest Bogger” trophy was created and issued to the vehicle that put on the best display for the crowd. After much deliberation the award was going to go to Mike Ulitsch with the Sick 50 Mega truck but he wasn’t having it...... He turned that trophy over to a stock dodge on 35” boggers that ran, and ran, and then died in the pit, was worked on, fired back up and ran some more! Leo Audy was beside himself when the trophy was turned over to him. Absolutely made his day and everyone’s who witnessed Mike’s gesture. That’s what this sport is all about making friends, making smiles and making memories. The whole weekend was incredible, hanging with friends cutting lose a bit and kickin’ back! Theo really has a good handle on keeping it simple, keeping it fun and still keeping everyone safe. Offroad Nation looks forward to returning even if we have to wait a whole year. WTB 7.0 2018! See ya there! 29
