Words and photos by: Rapid Velocity Photo 017 son was photos Rapid The opening event of CT Truck Wars’ 2017 season was held at the Stafford Motor Speedway in Stafford Springs, CT in May and as usual, Mike and the PT Customs crew didn’t disappoint. The event was more or less an open “play day” for drivers and crews to test and tune and ���������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������� crew alongside Randy Oakley and the Vermonster 4x4 safety crew made sure the whole day was full of action for drivers and specators alike. Central Connecticut Four Wheelers (CC4W) drivers competed in an action packed, wheel to wheel race, lap after lap around the obstacle course. These guys show new meaning to the saying “rubbing is racing”. They are fearless and an absolute blast �������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������� bumping into each other, losing wheels and other various parts. The Side x Sides competed on the same course and the smiles on everyones’ faces watching them is priceless. Mud drags with every type of truck kept the action going all day and the Bounty Hole is still undefeated, even with a jump into the pit. Mega trucks No Mercy, Flyin’ High and a few others entertained everyone and got some tuning in over the big jumps and the tug pad had some ������������������������������������������������������������������������������
