Don offered Stephen an officiating gig that almost immediately turned into an offer to take over the business. Stephen says, “It hit me like a ton of bricks that this was what I was meant to do.” Already an ordained minister, it was serendipitous and clearly meant to be, and the Palmer’s took over Tybee Island Wedding. In 2013, Stephen branched out on his own and became Stephen Palmer Weddings. It was an instant success, which was due not only to hard work, but also for his love of being in that moment. That exact time where those vows are exchanged is really magical and there is no place he would rather be.
