CREATING YOUR BLOCK This is what your design should look like once it is complete! At this point, you should have a ragged edge around the outside of your quilt block as well as around the outside of each appliqué. SEWING THE RAGGED EDGE BLOCKS TOGETHER S A B Next we will be creating a 3 x 2 block wall hanging to show you how to connect the blocks. You will need to stitch out 6 ragged edge quilt blocks. Lay the blocks out in 3 rows of 2 blocks each in your order of preference. C D To begin, take one row and place the two blocks wrong sides together. Using your sewing machine, carefully sew along one side of the seam, removing the pins as you go. Pin the two blocks together along the seam of the right side of your top block.
