SEWING CUSHION TOGETHER M N Place the starting end of cording inside the folded end, letting the cord ends meet. Pin in place. O P Using your sewing machine, stitch the handles in place as shown with solid line, using a 1/2” seam allowance. Q R Now, place your bottom cushion fabric on top of top cushion fabric, right sides together. To create a seamless look, fold the trimmed cording fabric in 1/4” toward the cord. You are now ready to attach the four ties you created earlier. You will place two ties on both sides. Begin by placing one raw end of two strips on the right and left 1.0” tie markings created in step A on page 7. Your cushion should look like this with both handles secured in place.
