STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS G H Trim the excess fabric as close to the tack down stitches as possible. Helpful Hint: Worried about your fabric being pulled by the stitches? Wait until Step J to trim. I J Run the embroidery details of your design. Refer to the design steps of each individual design for amount of embroidery steps for your particular design. K L Lay the fabric over the top of the placement stitches, overlapping the bottom line by ¹/4”. Step 3 of the design will tack the base fabric in place. Your block should look like this once trimmed. Once all the embroidery details are complete, run the placement stitch for your folded fabric borders. Note: Not all designs will have folded fabric borders. If yours doesn’t, skip to Step Q.
