EE An ALTERNATIVE Take SADDLE PAD Slipping For our team at Success Equestrian, we recognized the need for a product that addresses these challenges, one that is visually elegant and even more importantly, a solution that won’t break the bank. We spoke to several highlevel as well as everyday riders across Dressage, Hunter/Jumper and Eventing disciplines to understand the key influencers that cause improper saddle fitting and slipping. The design is elegant and yet effective at tackling saddle slippage for even the most difficult to fit horses. To prevent slippage, we strategically placed a breathable and flexible air-flow grip in the areas that need it most – under the seat of the saddle and under the front panels that follow the rider’s leg and nowhere else to reduce excess sweating under the flap. It’s also antimicrobial, which means it won’t create added irritation and doesn’t require high-heat cleaning. We also used a unique blend of quilted cotton to help wick perspiration from the horse’s sides, as well as a silky fabric lining on the withers for extra comfort for the horse. To create even more comfort for the horse, we added an additional layer of breathable shock-absorbing open cell foam throughout the seat. This adds extra saddle stability to help prevent side-to-side and front-to-back movement, supporting the rider and preventing unnecessary friction on the horse’s back. Our hope is that ill-fitting saddle pads become a thing of the past, and that we’ve created a solution for everyone. Thus far, we have hundreds of riders using our pads and across a range of levels.
