2 5 t h J u n e t e e n t h 29 The Juneteenth Urban Music Festival celebrated 25 years in Memphis with a plethora of events June 12th through June 18th with A Taste of Juneteenth, Job and Career Fair at St. Andrews Church, and Juneteenth All Over Town. The Youth Awards and Lifetime Achievement Awards was held at Holiday Inn University of Memphis. Reverend Dr. Gin Marcia Stewart was the recipient of the Living Lifetime Legend Award. The Juneteenth Festival continued for the next three days at Robert Church Park in downtown Memphis. Praise Fest at Memphis Juneteenth featured Pastor Donald Walker, Pastor Tony Wade, Apostle Bill Anderson, Therman Richardson and Devyn Nicole. This was an entire Sunday of great Gospel Music, Inspirational Words and more. Telisa Franklin serves as President of Juneteenth Urban Musical Festival.
