Integrity Leadership 2017 22 | P a g e Mutual Respect You are expected to treat coworkers with dignity and respect. For our Company to be successful, we have to work together as a team. Nothing destroys a team more quickly than a lack of mutual respect. Disrespectful behavior or remarks that involve a person's race, sex, age, religion, disability, national origin, sexual orientation and gender identity, or any other category protected by federal, state or local law will not be tolerated. Examples of disrespectful behavior include: o abusive remarks, gestures or physical contact o displaying derogatory, demeaning or sexually explicit material o epithets, slurs, taunting or inappropriate jokes If someone behaves disrespectfully at work, we encourage you to discuss it with them. If this is not practical, or if you're uncomfortable doing so, please report it. We're not suggesting that you can never say anything negative to or about a coworker. But, when criticism is needed, you should always choose words and an approach that will help rather than hurt.
