D F H ANITAGOODESIGNONLINE.COM 40 E Lay the first piece of appliqué fabric over the top of the placement stitches, completely covering all sides. Step 3 of the design is the placement stitch for your first piece of appliqué fabric. This will show you where to place your fabric. Remove the excess fabric away from the tack down stitches. Do not trim excess fabric away from the outside of the design . Step 3 of the design is your tack down stitch for your appliqué fabric. Remove the completed design from your embroidery hoop. Using a rotary cutter and ruler, trim your design leaving a 1/2” seam allowance on all sides. Repeat steps E-H for remaining appliqué fabrics. Then continue on with the remaining embroidery steps of the design. G I
