STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS G H Trim away the excess base fabric from the stitches. (You do not need to worry about seam allowance since we will be adding a folded fabric border.) I J You are now ready to begin the folded fabric border. The first step will be your placement stitch. This will show you where to place your first piece of folded fabric. K L The next step will be the folding stitch and will secure your fabric in place. Step 4 will be a tack down stitch for the base fabric. Continue on with the decorative embroidery steps of the design. Refer to the numbered steps at the end of the tutorial for details on these steps.
