STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS STEP S With a matching thread and a sewing needle, run 4 or 5 stitches through the center to hold the bow as desired. Cut and tie off the thread using your favorite sewing knot. We will now prepare our "knot fabric". With your 1" x 5" piece of "knot" fabric, iron a length of steam-a-seam along the long edge. Repeat along the second edge. NOTIONS TIP Find the center line and crease there. Fold one long side in so the raw edge meets the center line. Repeat for the second long edge. The two edges should meet or slightly overlap to make the knot fabric 1/2" x 5". Pull off the backing from the steam-a-seam and iron.
