SEWING INSTRUCTIONS Bring your blocks to your sewing machine, place them right sides together and sew along the seams 1/8” inside the tack down stitches. When sewing, start and stop ¹/₂” away from each corner; this will allow you to easily maneuver each piece in later steps. Only sew along the wall pieces, the angled roof lines will be attached later on in the project. C D Now that you have a row of wall pieces stitched together, fold your house in half with right sides together and sew using the same method as you did in step “B”. After this step, both the top and bottom will be open. Open the blocks and double check your alignment. When satisfied, continue attaching your blocks in the correct sequence. (Refer to Creepy Construction pages.) Now, using an iron, butterfly your seams open as shown. Next, we’ll be closing the top of the house. Use pins to hold the top pieces together. Sew along the dotted line the same way you’ve sewn all your other blocks together.
