FOAM CUTTING INSTRUCTIONS B Transfer the measurement between point “A” and point “B” onto the foam. The solid line identifies the found measurement. Mark along the dotted line, or width, of your foam for a guideline to help cut the roof line angle later. Note: Your measurement might be a little different from ours. A WIDTH Next, lets find where we will need to begin cutting the angle for the roof line. Use a ruler to measure from point “A” to point “B”. (Where the roof begins to the bottom of the house). Next, turn the stacked foam pieces over on their sides. The center of the foam is already determined between the two pieces, since each foam equals the same distance. Draw a line from the point at which 7 1/4” ends to the center of the foam. The dotted lines show where your marks should be. Using the electric knife, cut along the marked diagonal line to create the roof line. Repeat same technique for the other side of the foam. Note: Cut less rather than more. You can always cut more if you need to later. ANITAVILLE HORROR | Projects Collection | 92 Using an electric knife, cut out the foam block. Use the marking lines created in step “A”. For the main house, layer two pieces of foam on top of each other. Using a marker, mark the foam to the size of the main house.
