This not a shopping mall, flea market or shopping center; this is an area sprinkled for blocks of individual shops, galleries and boutiques. This area features over 40 shops with a variety of offerings from art deco to early period pieces to modern art. Considered to be the “antique design center” of Florida by such magazines and newspapers as House Beautiful, Architectural Digest, Art & Antiques, the Palm Beach Post and the New York Times. What can you really expect to find here? Well, of course you will find antique shops but you will see various specialty stores and art galleries. At James & Jeffrey Antiques you will find an array of fine period antiques, distinctive lighting and decorative accessories. At The Elephant’s 20 Explore Palm Beach | Welcome to our world™ Foot Antiques you will find and array of antique and decorative furniture, mirrors and accessories for the home. For 19th century bamboo furniture and eclectic accessories try visiting COCO House & Company. Garden art, Asian art and Murano Glass Sculptures can be found at the funky Iconic Snob Galeries. Some of the specialty shops in the area include vintage clothing stores. One such shop is called Palm Beach Vintage and features women’s designer clothes from the 1900’s through the 1980’s. Once a year Antique Row has a fundraising event called an Evening On Antique Row that features live entertainment, specialty foods and shopping. This event usually takes place in early March and benefits The Young Friends of the Historical Society of Palm Beach County. It’s a night full of antiques, food and fun.
