The seam allowance starts from the marking stitch left by the merged template. C. Your quilt block should look something like this. Repeat these same steps for 1 plain quilt block and 1 doodle block for each side. E. Next you will line your doodle blocks. Place your lining fabric right-side down and your doodle block right-side up. With your rotary cutter, trim your seam allowance as marked. To start the assembly of your casserole grabber you will need: • 1 plain & 1 doodle block for right side • 1 plain & 1 doodle block for left side • 1 rectangle folded fabric block. F. Trim the lining fabric to your doodle block. Baste the doodle block and lining together, back sides together. You can use pins or spray adhesive to hold these together.
