TOWEL TIP Recipe Open the folded towel so that it is completely open and facing right-side up. Press down and smooth the towel to ensure it adhears to the stabilizer. This is going to keep it from shifting in your machine while it stitches. I. J. 182 G. L. H. Sew through the embroidery steps of the design and remove the hoop from the machine when you are done. K. The second step in this design is the basting stitch. This will help to give a little extra hold and keep the towel from drawing in as it embroiders the design. The basting stitch will be removed later. Next, remove the basting stitches from the towel using a seam ripper and pulling the thread away gently. Your finished design should look something like this after the basting stitches are removed. You can then pull it away from the Perfect Stick like you would with tear-away stabilizer.
