TOWEL TOPPER Recipe G. H. 188 J. Next take your ribbon, fold it in half, and place the folded end ½" inside the tack down stitch. Tape to hold in place. I. Take your back fabric and lay it down, making sure it covers the tacking stitch completely on all sides. K. After you run the next tacking stitch, remove the hoop from the machine and trim the front fabric. Flip it over and trim the back fabric. Make sure you do not cut your ribbon off! Take your pre-cut stiffener and lay it down, making sure it is inside all sides of the tacking stitch. Next, place your elastic band accross the center of the design on the back side and tape down the excess hanging outside the tacking stitches. Place the hoop back into the machine to run the next step. L. Once the back is cut it should look like this.
