Creating The Perfect Landscape Landscape quilting gives every quilter the opportunity to experiment with different quilting fabrics, different textures, unique quilting techniques and inspiration to create a stunning finished product meant to be displayed. As you can see, these landscape blocks were meant to mirror a beautiful sunset, so we chose fabrics that reflected those colors. Use your creativity to figure out the best items for expressing your vision! Working with Sheer Fabrics To make these landscape silhouettes even more unique we added a layer of shimmery organza on top of the landscape fabrics to create a realistic sunset look. Organza can be tricky, but don’t let that stop you from using it! Be sure when choosing your organza that it is not too thin since these designs are very stitch intensive.
