ANATOMY OF THE DESIGN These are the numbers that will coordinate with the appliqué steps in the individual design section. As you can see above we have a photograph of a finished project with numbers on each piece of appliqué. These numbers will correspond with the instructions for each sunset background with the foreground being all shadow silhouettes. In order to mute the colors in the background to give it a true sunset look, we used light gray shimmery organza to help pull everything together and dull down the vibrancy of the background making it appear to be dusk. 7 design letting you know the order in which each piece of appliqué is added. We suggest gathering all of your appliqué fabrics and laying them out in order to make sure you like the combination of colors before picking your threads or getting started.
