NOTES REGISTRATION Bad registration is when you have a design with outlines that don’t line up when stitched. This will obviously ruin a garment since there is no way to fix it once it stitches. Here’s how to fix something like this if it happens when you test the design. FIXES: 1. Make sure you added enough pull compensation to both the fills and satin stitches. 2. Make sure the fills extend at least halfway underneath the satin stitches. 3. Make sure the design is hooped properly. 4. Make sure you are using the correct stabilizer. It’s always a good idea to do a test run of a design before adding it to a garment. That way, you can make any edits and by the time you actually stitch onto the final product, you can be sure it’s perfect!
