CAROL “At Anita Goodesign we pride ourselves on providing you with the best embroidery designs on the market.” Saying you’re “the best” is a big statement and there’s a lot of responsibility to carry when it’s said. So what exactly is our “special sauce?” We want you to see for yourself the process that makes Anita “the best.” Every We want to provide you with an insider’s look into every aspect. This month we will shine a light on the artwork process that puts Anita Goodesign in a category all of it’s own. Anita never starts sewing without knowing where she’s going. Although we may be improvisational at times in our color choices, we always start with a technique and tie it into a concept. When we see color palettes, illustrations, or incorporate these new ideas into our next collection. We also get a tremendous amount of inspiration from our customers who attend our live events and contact us through social media. Your feedback pushes us farther than you may know. Your insights are always taken constructively and have become invaluable to our process, informing our decisions and the artwork we produce. Without your feedback we would be “stitching in the dark” so to speak. LANTIS ANITA’S ART DEPARTMENT Taking our concepts to the next stage requires some serious skill, so we have a hand picked A-team of artists who are brilliant at bringing our concepts to life! In the heart of our headquarters in Charlotte, NC is Carol Lantis, the artist who leads the charge along with Stephen Wilson in the development of the artwork that we release. Carol’s job at Anita Goodesign not only requires great talent and a developed artistic sense, but also an advanced working knowledge of embroidery tools and techniques. Her experience and foresight makes the artwork better and prevents problems throughout the entirety of a collection’s production.
