OUR ARTWORK RELEASE PROCESS ������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������ through Carol. Admittedly, there are thousands of art pieces that don’t make it to production every year because of the high standard that we hold our artists to; but, the ones that are approved go on to the digitizing department for the next step in production. The art’s not out of the woods just yet. Coming from all walks of life, our digitizers are artists, designers, and skilled technicians that hand place every stitch in our designs. They use the latest digitizing software to turn the approved artwork from Carol’s desk into the software that is loaded into your embroidery machine. Each stitch is carefully placed and our digitizers must employ multiple techniques and stitches to ensure that our stitch outs are absolutely perfect. Each digitizer is given a full collection of artwork, an embroidery machine and is given ������������������������������������������ ������������������������������������������ �������������������������������������������������������������������� to be questionable throughout their process. The digitizing process could never be possible without our talented artists, especially Carol Lantis. One of Carol’s biggest endeavors was the design of our Anita’s Playhouse Line. She is undoubtedly incredibly skillful in bringing character with a youthful playfulness to any animal. The creation of our popular Animal Adventure Premium Plus was a major hit. This stemmed numerous other collections with our Playhouse characters. Just to mention a few are Mask-grr-rade, Animal Adventure Ornaments, The Cool Kids, Playhouse Dress-up and Book Huggers. FUZZY OWLS AND FOREST FRIENDS Her sketches of whimsical owls and animals were used in both popular collections of Forest Friends and ������������ �������������� ���������������� ������ ������������ ���������� ���������������������������������������������������������������������� are sure to bring a smile to any face. MARINERS COMPASS Animal Artwork is just one skill Carol has mastered. One of our most popular quilting collections is Mariner’s Compass Special Edition. For this particular collection we wanted to take a traditional quilt pattern like the Mariner’s Compass and create a modern work of art. This collection has literally dozens of options to create everything from a bedspread to a table centerpiece using the appliqué centerpiece. The artwork Carol drew before the digitizing process made it possible to recreate this classic quilt look.
