What Is Polyester? We love using 100% polyester thread because it results in excellent production and adds magnificent color and luster to finished projects. It is a high-sheen, high -strength, lubricated embroidery thread. There are different weights for polyester thread, but we almost always use 40wt for the vast majority of our collections. POLYESTER THREAD Collections Using Polyester Threads Due to its color-fast nature, polyester threads are great to use for anything you may put on clothing, such as the Anita’s Playhouse characters from The Cool Kids collection. We use Floriani polyester thread because of the shine and wide range of colors available. The Floriani thread offers the strength of polyester and the luster of rayon thread.
