EMBROIDERY AS FINE ART? PART 1 OF A MULTI-PART SERIES ON CREATING OUR FIRST FINE ART PIECES This special section will give you insight on how we created pieces for a fine art show this year. Part 1 will tell you the story about how the pieces came to be. Part 2 will be about how the pieces were actually created. This is a very exciting feature for me, since it is so personal in nature. I am, and have always been, a proponent of embroidery and all of the beautiful things you can create with it. The subject matter of the pieces is a little different from what I do at Anita Goodesign.
