NOTES APPLIQUÉ ART We use appliqué in a lot of our collections. There are strict guidelines in place that need to be followed when artwork is being turned into an appliqué design. There are over a dozen different appliqué types and each different type of appliqué has its own set of rules. Before you turn artwork into appliqué, be sure to know the style of appliqué you are creating, and then go from there. If you are creating multiple appliqué designs you want to use in the same project, make sure you use a consistent style from design to design. If a design has a 4mm satin stitch border for instance, make sure all of the borders are the same.
