3D EMBROIDERY Most of you have created a 3D embroidery design in the past. That design could have been a bookmark, ornament, or inthe hoop project. We used the same technique with all of the 3D art pieces that we created. We stiched all of the embroidery designs on either wash-away or tear-away stabilizer, and then mounted them to the structure. This example below is from the LOVE piece. For this piece, all of the individual flowers were stitched to larger appliqué letters using a sewing machine.
