In our proclamation of “the mystery of faith,” we are reminded that what we believe is truly a mystery. How is it that God sent his Son to earth in the person of Jesus, that He died to redeem us and free us from our sins, has given us His Body and Blood, rose from the dead and will return again? A mystery, indeed. It is what the Church calls the Paschal Mystery. And yet, we take it on faith. We believe.
