�������������������������������������������� steps STITCHING BOX LID �� �� The second step will be the tack down stitch for the stiffener. These stitches will be slightly inside the placement stitches ran in step ‘A’ �� �� Step 3 of the design will be the tack down stitch for your base fabric. �� �� Your design should look like this once trimmed. ������������������������������ After the stiffener is tacked down, place your base fabric, right side facing up, so that it completely covers the stiffener and overlaps by at least 1” on the top of the design. Using scissors, trim away the excess fabric from the tack down stitches, while being sure to leave the top 1” of excess fabric untrimmed.
