steps STITCHING HAND BAG BLOCKS To begin, hoop a piece of No-Show Mesh stabilizer and run step 1 of the design. This is the squaring stitch showing you where to place your batting. Step 2 of the design will be the tack down stitch, securing your batting to your stabilizer. Next, place your base fabric over top of the tack down stitches, making sure the fabric extends by 1/2” on all four sides. Place a piece of batting over top of the squaring stitch. Be sure to completely cover all four sides. Using scissors, trim away the excess batting from the tack down stitches. Step 3 of the design will be the tack down stitch for your base fabric. | |129
