steps STITCHING HAND BAG BLOCKS Depending on the design, run the embroidery steps until the step for your placement stitch for your first piece of appliqué fabric. The next machine step will be the tack down stitch for the appliqué fabric. Using scissors, trim away the excess fabric from the tack down stitches. Use steps G-J for any remaining appliqué fabrics of the design. Continue running the remaining embroidery steps of the design. Place your appliqué fabric over top of the placement stitches, completely covering all sides. Using a rotary cutter and ruler, trim your quilt block using a 1/2” seam allowance. Note: You will need to stitch out a second block in order to construct the handbag. | |130
