This is the placement stitch showing you where to place the napkin ring fabric. �� �� The next machine step will be the tack down stitch, securing your fabric in place. �� �� Using sharp scissors, remove the fabric within the marking stitches. Place your fabric over top of the placement stitch. Step 3 of the design will be the marking stitch showing you where to remove the napkin fabric in order to create the button opening. The next step will be the satin stitch around the button opening as well as a placement stitch (shown in dotted circle) showing you where you will hand sew a button at the end.
