STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS Place your appliqué fabric right side facing up over the placement stitches. Next, place the hoop back in your machine and run the tack down and blanket stitch (step 4). Use appliqué scissors to trim. Run the remaining embrodiery steps in your design until finished. Take the design out of the hoop and use a seam ripper to remove the basting stitch. With the seam ripper, rip the thread from the corners of the basting stitch and a couple from the sides and the thread should pull out nice and easy. STEP J STEP K STEP L NOTIONS TIP When you run your embroidery be sure to use colors that will stand out on your piece of appliqué. TIP When you choose your appliqué fabric, be mindful of how pattern heavy your fabric is. If it is too busy, your embrodiery can be lost. TIP
