m n Reference your designs 1, 2, 3 steps to know when you are ready to add the folded fabric borders. The first step in this process will be the placement stitch for your first folded fabric piece. o p Next will be the folding stitch, which will secure your fabric in place. This stitch will also guide you where to fold your fabric for the following step. Place your fabric, right-side down, covering 1/4” of the placement stitch. Fold the fabric over the folding stitch, so fabric is now right-side up. Tape in place if needed. r Repeat steps ‘M-Q’ to create the bottom border. Once the top and bottom folded fabrics are complete, trim away the excess fabric from the sides only as shown. NOTE: Design HC-WINDOW-4 does not have a bottom folded fabric border. It will be covered by an applique. The next step will be the tack down stitch, securing your fabric in place.
