Yuletide Keepsake Box steps ASSEMBLING KEEPSAKE BOX b c To begin, place the front block on top of the bottom block, right sides together, and pin in place. Stitch the long edge together first. Then move on to a short side and repeat. Attach the other back block and side block in the same manner. Using an iron, press open the seams before moving on to the next step. BACK Once you have sewn the five blocks together, your layout should look like this. Now, cut a piece of lining fabric that will be used to line the keepsake box and hide all of the stitches. Do this by laying the sewn design on top of your lining fabric, and trim directly along the design. g Heirloom Christmas | Premium Collection | 135 d f Next, you will attach the lid design to the other attached designs. Place the lid design on top of the back block, right sides together as shown. Pin in place. Once trimmed, your lining fabric should look like this. Set the fabric aside. e SIDE BOTTOM SIDE FRONT
