Cutwork Photo Frame steps CREATING PHOTO FRAME m n Back of Hoop Back of Hoop Place the embroidery hoop back into the machine. The next step of the design is the tack down stitch for the back fabric. Then, trim the excess fabric away from the tack down stitches. o p Back of Hoop Place the embroidery hoop back into your machine and run the next step which is the tack down stitch for the back fabric. Then, trim the excess fabric away from the tack down stitches. q r The last machine step will be a satin stitch around the outside of photo frame. This will be seen on the back side as well, so be sure to match your bobbin before running the last step. OPEN EDGE The next machine step will be a placement stitch for the second piece of back fabric (2.0” x 6.0”). Fold this fabric in half as you did with the first piece in step K. Place this piece over top of the placement stitches and tape in place as shown. Note: open edge of fabric should be a the top Flip your hoop to the front and place on a flat surface. Using scissors, trim away the excess fabric from the tack down stitches of the base fabric. Place the embroidery hoop back into your machine and run the final embroidery step of the design.
