STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS A B Place a piece of felt over the placement stitches. Be sure to completely cover all sides. (You will need 1/8” seam allowance.) C D Continue with the decorative embroidery steps. E F Turn your hoop over and lay the back fabric over the top of the placement stitches, completely covering all sides. Tape securely in place. To start, hoop a piece of tear-away stabilizer, then stitch Step 1 of the design. This is the placement stitch for your letter. Step 2 will tack the felt in place, then finish with a decorative blanket stitch. Note: Do not trim at this point. Wind a bobbin to match the felt you will use for your back fabric.
