We gave you two sizes for each of these twelve adorable designs because one size never seems to fit all. Now you can customize your gift bag to fit that special present that you spent so much time searching for. Both sizes were designed to be nice and roomy to hold a variety of gifts. However, neither is quite big enough for that bright, shiny, new embroidery machine that’s on the top of your list. Santa will have to just tie a bow on it! Outline Your Plan! With this collection, the trimming of the appliqués can be a little tricky. That is why we added an Outline Stitch as the first step of each design, something we have rarely done before. This stitch traces the entire outer edge of the design, including all of the appliqués that will be stitched inside of it. Any piece of an appliqué along the Outline Stitch gets trimmed with a seam allowance. Any of the appliqué that stays inside the Outline Stitch will get trimmed tight to the tacking stitch.
