For these designs we used unique guideline stitches to help place the tea towel perfectly on the stabilizer, without hooping. This step eliminates all the guess work that comes when hooping projects. What makes this popular stitch so special in this collection is that we've used it as a ghost stitch. When a ghost stitch is included in a design, it means that two different stitches will be surrounding the appliqué. The ghost stitch is always going to be the one that is designed to blend into the fabric. The second outline stitch will be your standard outline stitch, that is meant to stand out. These funky houses are created exclusively with running bean stitches, creating a light design with fun detail. With such light stitching, you'll be able to make all ten towel designs.
